Overview
Willawong warehouse is Walsc’s first warehouse project in the QLD region. In this project, Interternacy Wall System 50 are installed on both sides, providing high fire-rating and acoustic performance.

Description
Splitting the warehouse into an owner-occupied space and a leased tenancy called for a dividing wall with high fire rating and acoustic performance. The challenge was achieving this without the high cost and long lead time (of the alternative system, Speedpanel).
Walsc AAC Panel 50mm were staggered on both sides of the dividing wall, delivering a 90-minute fire rating (FRL -/90/90) and acoustic separation between the two tenancies. The system came in at a lower cost than the alternative, without the long lead time, and was installed quickly with just a scissor lift and no render needed.
