Brand Values & ESG
Built on values. Focused on tomorrow.
Built on values. Focused on tomorrow.
At Walsc, building better means more than delivering advanced AAC panel systems. It means combining performance, safety, innovation and accountability to create lasting value for our customers, communities and the built environment. Since 2014, Walsc has contributed to hundreds of projects across Australia — from low-rise homes and aged-care facilities to warehouses, apartments and commercial developments.
Performance you can trust
Quality and compliance are fundamental to everything we deliver. Walsc AAC panel systems are developed to provide dependable fire, acoustic, thermal and structural performance across residential and commercial applications — supported by technical documentation, independent testing and ongoing assessment against relevant Australian building requirements.
Innovation with purpose
We pursue innovation that solves practical construction challenges. Our lightweight, reinforced AAC wall and flooring systems combine strength, durability and building performance with faster, more efficient installation, and we continue to invest in system development, testing and technical improvement to meet the changing needs of the Australian construction industry.
Partnership at every stage
Better buildings require collaboration. We work closely with architects, builders, certifiers, distributors and project teams to provide practical advice from design and specification through to installation — with local technical support that helps customers select and implement suitable systems with greater clarity and confidence.
Responsibility for the long term
We believe responsible business decisions should support both present-day performance and long-term value. That means considering how our products affect building safety, occupant comfort, construction efficiency and environmental performance — not only during installation, but throughout the life of the building.
Environmental, social & governance
ESG refers to the environmental, social and governance factors used to understand an organisation's sustainability efforts, operational risks, opportunities and accountability. For Walsc, ESG is not separate from the way we build our business — it supports our commitment to delivering reliable building systems, maintaining strong industry relationships and making responsible decisions for the future.
Environmental
Supporting more efficient buildings.
Walsc AAC panels combine low thermal conductivity with thermal mass to support strong thermal performance. When incorporated into a properly designed wall or flooring system, this can help reduce a building's reliance on heating and cooling. Our reinforced AAC panels use natural, non-toxic ingredients, and suitable scrap generated during use can be recycled.
- Supporting energy-efficient building design through strong thermal performance.
- Improving material utilisation and reducing avoidable construction waste.
- Encouraging the recycling of suitable AAC offcuts and scrap material.
- Continuing to assess opportunities for more efficient products, systems and operations.
Social
Creating safer and more comfortable spaces.
The social dimension of ESG includes workplace practices, human rights, community relationships and the ways organisations support people and culture. For Walsc, this begins with building systems that contribute to safer, quieter and more comfortable environments — with non-combustible material properties, acoustic insulation and thermal performance across a range of residential and commercial applications.
- Supporting safer and more comfortable buildings.
- Maintaining a respectful and responsible workplace.
- Providing accessible technical guidance and project support.
- Building long-term relationships with customers, partners and communities.
- Promoting safe handling, installation and construction practices.
Governance
Accountability through testing and transparency.
Governance concerns how an organisation is directed, controlled and held accountable. Walsc supports good governance through technical documentation, product testing, compliance assessments and clear communication with customers and industry partners. Walsc systems have been subject to CodeMark certification and ongoing testing by accredited laboratories for areas including fire resistance, acoustic performance and thermal insulation.
- Maintaining accurate and accessible technical information.
- Supporting compliance with applicable Australian building requirements.
- Using independent testing and assessment to substantiate product performance.
- Managing business risks responsibly.
- Communicating openly with customers, partners and stakeholders.
- Continuously reviewing and improving our systems and practices.
Performance by the numbers
A decade of engineering high-performance AAC systems for the Australian construction industry.
Non-combustible systems providing fire-resistance levels up to -/240/240 minutes.
Outstanding acoustic insulation — sound values greater than other materials of the same weight.
CodeMark certified, NCC/BCA compliant and continuously tested by NATA-accredited laboratories.
Reinforced. Tested. Accredited.
Our governance starts with the product. Every Walsc AAC panel system is independently tested and certified for compliance with the NCC and Australian Standards — giving specifiers and certifiers complete certainty.
